The seed of JMJ was planted by Sr. Ignatia Busch on the soil of Ghana which rich in gold and Cocoa. She is honoured to be called as a pioneer in Mission. The JMJ Society started to spread its branches by the arrival of our pioneer sisters on 25th July 1990.The Indian and Indonesian sisters who set their feet on Ghanian soil for the first time were of great importance. They were able to start and build up their work on strong foundation. Indeed they laid a solid foundation, necessary for a tactful apostolate starting with Yeji, Atebubu then KBK now in Sambuli. It is a great honour and pleasure for us to recall our pioneers and to be grateful to them.
Srs. Angelino Poluan and Johanna Roring from Indonesia
Srs. Jovita Plakkal, Luciana Kalapuraputhenpra and Rosily Kannampuzha from India.
